Glass Tempering

The newest design in glass processing furnaces is the convection oven and ESG is proud to say that we are operating one of the best Glass Tempering furnances in the industry.

The convection process allows us to heat treat glass faster and with better quality than ever before.

Furthermore, with a bed size of 2500mm x 4600mm we have one of the largest furnaces in the UK and are able to meet architects increasing preference for larger panels.

ESG offer both fully tempered and heat strengthened glass. Fully Tempered glass has approximately 5 times the mechanical and thermal strength of annealed glass and Heat Strengthened has approximately twice the mechanical and thermal strength of annealed glass.
