Back painted coloured glass

Beautiful back painted coloured glass panels from ESG, will help create a designer setting anywhere in the built environment, and gives -you the freedom to choose any colour including RAL, Dulux Trade or Pantone®.

Fitting out a commercial or domestic kitchen, then choose ESG’s toughened splash backs suited for use near cookers, induction or gas hobs. Our decorative glass can also be used in shower cubicles, bathrooms, wet rooms, as table tops or worktops. Lamination protects the coloured surface from scratching during handling and installation. It also ensures the safety of building occupants and can create totally different design aesthetics on both sides of the glass. ClearShield® Anti-microbial protection can be applied to any ESG glass product on request.

Bespoke rectangular and shaped panels can be cut and processed using the latest CNC (Computer Numeric Control) equipment. Our processes and machines make light work of standard internal or external cut outs for electrical sockets, lighting switches or drill holes to any size. This is due to our technical expertise and broad processing capability gained over years of experience.

Screen Printed Glass

Whether you need a stunning effect for a decorative glass panel or do you have a commercial project that needs fulfilling? Then choose ESG’s Screen Printed Glass. This is highly effective when used decoratively and can be applied to float, laminated or toughened glasses. Our work is bespoke and exclusive to each client and we can offer architects, interior specialists, partitioners and designers incredible choices which are limited only by the imagination.

The use of screen printed glass also gives technical control of heat and light transmission. By increasing the ceramic coverage on the glass, the shading factor of clear and body tinted glasses is increased which allows greater flexibility of choice and design. Performance data for screen printed glass is available on request.

ESG Designer Laminate

The new ‘ESG Designer’ range of laminated glass enables our clients to create bespoke designs incorporating a vast array of colours, patterns and materials giving their designers greater creative freedom. Using glass as a substrate, a colourful range of surface paints or lacquers can be applied to the inner surface or designers may choose to encapsulate a diverse selection of materials such as films, graphics (full colour printed manifestation), fabrics, some plastics and acrylics and even wood or metal.

The primary benefits from encapsulation are that the interlayers used to bond the materials help reduce colour fading, the inks used are UV stable and also the glass protects the decorated surface from cleaning products and general daily use. In this way the designers’ original work is protected and preserved.

With such a breadth of designer finishes and materials available the potential applications are vast and include:– Screens, Doors, Furniture, Tiles and Splash backs, Work Tops, Signage, Table Tops, Corporate Art, Exhibition displays, Lighting, Partitioning and Flooring.
